Eliza Harris
My name is Eliza Harris. I was born in Melbourne, Australia, and lived there until I moved to Tasmania to study a Bachelor of Antarctic Science at the University of Tasmania. This took me to lots of interesting places, from the southernmost point of Tasmania to an exchange at the world’s most northerly campus, the University Centre in Svalbard. I majored in Chemistry and came to Europe in 2009 to begin my doctoral degree here at the MPIC, looking at atmospheric chemistry and aerosols using sulfur isotopes. Outside of work, I enjoy running, skiing, hiking and travelling around Europe.
