Main Focus
- Environmental chamber (MIMiX mk. II) for scanning transmission X-ray microscopy (STXM) for detailed single-particle analyses (environmental aerosols from multiple scientific missions: ATTO, HALO, S/Y Eugen Seibold)
- MICE: Microstations In Challenging Environments - low-cost aerosol measuring sensors integrated into different measurement schemes from oceans (R/V Meteor, S/Y Eugen Seibold) and cities (Warsaw, Mainz) to the top of the troposphere (UAS, weather balloons).
- Vertical profiling of atmosphere with drones, cable cars and skyscrapers
- Spatial analysis and data visualisation (GIS)
